Thread from the dead... but..

Just did tranny mount and took the piece off was wondering if i should leave it off or put it back on.. but know I know

I think I would put it back, as it should firm your chassis up a little more than without it.

i took mine off to give me more room to get at my y-pipe gaskets and was a pita to put back on so I left it off and took it for a drive and the transmission bangs going into second gear, mines an automatic vert...how are you guys deleting this?

are you sure the bushing that sits in between the transmission and the brace has not broken?
