Are our spare tire compartments the same as the coupes/t-tops? I'd like to get that 860 Bottle mount to work with my 860 bottle heater/bracket, just not sure if it'll work. And no, I don't want to put the bottle between the back seats..

 

Yeah i am pretty sure the coupe and convertable spare tire areas are the same. I have seen pictures of a couple convertables with the bottle back there.

 

Ya, the bottle fits back there for sure. I guess I can be the guinea pig and see if this works. I'll order it now and post up results. Can always sell it if it doesn't fit. Thanks

 

I have a 10lb bottle in there, fits fine... I don't have the 860 box just bottle mounts... the bottle sits straight up in there. Obviously I don't have the spare tire in there anymore!

 

Ya, that's what I'm saying. I have the 860 bottle bracket/heater mounted vertical on the antenna bracket thing...I think that's what it is. But the 860 mount should let me put the bottle at the proper angle. We'll see

 

Updated with pics. This DOES WORK with the verts. I have a 10lb bottle and it's a perfect fit. If you buy this, you won't be able to use some remote openers or a 15lb'er..
