Never heard of a vert that did not leak at some time.

^^yea^^^

If that bonehead at the carwash points the high powered spray gun directly at my driver side window again I'm going to get out and shove it where the sun doesn't shine...

I just bought an 02 SS vert about 3 months ago, and noticed water standing in the trunk area. I have heard about these drain holes. Where are these drain holes located at? New to the verts so i'm learning as i go.

There is a drain hole on the passenger side spare tire compartment... Found this out because last winter a towel was blocking it and the bottom of the compartment was filled with a sheet of ice.

I have a 99 daily driver that's outside all the time. Still have the original top (replaced the window curtain when the window fell out) and the original weatherstripping. I've had leaks in the area where the top meets the side window and windshield, and have had success using a product call Gummi Pflege Stift. I roll the stuff on (a clear liquid) 2- 3 times a year.

That said, I have tweaked the rubbers over the years and can controll the leakage most of the time.

IMO as the rubbers age, they do get firmer plus I think they shrink some. Clearly the top window rubber should insert further into the windshield rubber more than it should IMO.

I am hoping that someone starts aftermarketing vert rubber strips cause its only a matter of time before we start needing them for 4th gens. If they are out there, I have not yet seen them.
