Top Hitting On Passenger Door Window

Top Hitting On Passenger Door Window sometimes when i close my top it hits the back of the passenger side window and want close all the way. it don't do it all the time kinda some timey. if i put the windw down or open the door theres no problem. every thing seems to be aligned and tight. PLEASE HELP

well my window is stuck up. (motor broke) so i have to open the door (passengerside)sometimes to close the top. my top didn't use to hit the window at all. i just got my car back from the body shop (custom JEFF GORDON paint job) i jusst didn't know if ther was some way to align the tops or something

It's not perfect but should be sufficient:
1, put pics from digicam to computer
2, upload pics to a free pic hosting site such as image shack or photobucket, you'll probably need to create an account to do so depending on where you decide.
3, once uploaded go to the exact addresses where the pics are
4, individually, copy the adresses by using (edit ->copy)
5, in new window in ls1tech reply there is a icon for use of linking pics
6, copy image address by using (edit -> paste) and image address should appear
7, ok it and post message.
It's kinda a pain in the *** for me to put the top up with the windows up (tried once) but habitually I just don't put them up all the way until the top is latched. Good luck on getting that window motor replaced.

If it only does it sometimes, it is due to the fact you probably do not have subframe connectors and your car has a slight chassis flex. Notice the pavement levels when your car does and does not have the "hitting" problem. You will see that when your car is level and not tilted one way more than another, your top will not hit against the window until the top is locked into place.
Also, put in a $50 window motor. It takes about an hour (if it's your first time doing a window motor swap).
