Default Door speakers for a 4th gen vert??

Am I correct to assume the door speakers on our verts are the same as the non verts with a Monsoon? Blew on at the gathering and need a good place to get a replacement for the fronts. Any thoughts? Don't want to change anything else.

Not the same as non-verts. They are still available through your local Chevy dealer. Had to replace my driver's side a few months ago.

I've bought ones out of a hardtop and they worked fine. Don't bother replacing them with stock ones though or they'll just blow again. Any aftermarket 6 1/2 inch speakers that are 2 ohm will work fine with the stock monsoon sounds system. I bout some infinity ones and they sound a little better than stock and won't blow.

Thanks guys. I will look into those infinity ones so I don't have to replace another stock one.
