My top broke itself!!!! Ok...i was just leavein pizza hut with a buddy of mine and I was like "its a nice night...lets drop the top" .... well in the process i hear this "cling cling" like something fell off and i looked and the bumper that goes behind the window on the passengers side was all womper-jawed. so i got to looking and the bracket that bends, the bolt had fallen out of the top, where it skrews into part of the shell that makes the top frame. I circled the bumper piece im talkin about but couldnt find a pic of the bracket so if anybody has any sugjestions on how to get the bolt (local dealership guys are IDIOTS!!!! and dont know wtf there doing) or if this has happend to you please post!
If you have one of those long antenna style magnets, that works too, I dropped a screw in mine but got it out. Now for that 10mm socket thats made a home somewhere in the bowels of my car...thats a different story. IF you can find it try gmpartsdriect.com, look for an exploded view or maybe youll need to go to a salvage yard.
