Has anyone done an LS1 swap into a 98-02 Convertible V6 Camaro? Ive done an LS1 into a V6 Ttop but I heard somewhere that the suspension or kmember is different in a convertible LS1 compared to an LS1 coupe camaro. Is this true?

I have a cousin who blew up his V6 and now wants to do an LS1 swap. So would he need a V8 kmember out of a convertible or can he use one out of a coupe/ttop car?

The vert K-member has extra bracing and that's it. Should be just like doing a t-top car

Can a tubular K-member be used on the Vert? Or will it need some extra bracing?

Does anyone have a pic of a convertible k-member? or the extra bracing of the convertibles?

The k-member was bent, thats why it didnt fit.
