Uh, my GPS does not need an external antenna (Garmon Nuvi)...you mean satelitte radio antenna? Moine was on my dash but I took it out.

My Alpine set up has an internal antenna but recommends using the external antenna.

Nuvi has it's own antenna. Sirius antenna is velcroed to the underside of the trunklid.

I was wondering this too. I have a Kenwood that plugs into my DVD touchscreen, and it has a big *** antenna. Looks kinda like I will have to mount it on the dash in the corner, since I have a convertible.

the trunk does make sense, since it is fiberglass.
