Get rid of the air and egr systems if you haven't already...air pump is like 10 pounds. Don't forget the difference between critical mass and rotational mass. Every pound of rotational mass you lose is equal to 4 pounds of critical mass. So if you lose 25 pounds in wheels and tires, it like shedding 100 pounds off the car (.1 quicker in the 1/4).
take out the washer fluid and all the things that go with that. Long tube headers are a must with dumped exhaust. Take out EGR and AIR with headers. Replace the factory H/U. I took out the rear speakers. Have absolutely nothing in the car except insurance and registration. I put in a stall converter so that took off weight. Rip out as much of that carpet padding as you can. Everything in the trunk, all the fake carpet crap.
