I like the red interior. I was planning the same for mine (Victory Red with red two tone).

Looking good, Tony! How does it compare to your former Supercharged C6 Coupe?

So far, it brings back memories of that car. I notice the variable ratio steering quite a bit, it actually feels more solid at hwy speeds. Not as solid/firm as the Viper, but much improved over the '05 C6 steering. Shifter still feels rubbery, but the gearbox shifts nicely. I noticed that they got rid of a few things since '05, like that creaky hatch pull-down handle on the underside of the hatch. Also got rid of the cheesy lock mechanism for the center console.

The car feels noticeably lighter than my C6 did, 3180 lbs vs 3400 lbs w/ supercharger. Haven't pushed it handling-wise, will do that on a race track. Acceleration is excellent for a stock vehicle, but that '05 hauled ***. Over 100 rwhp difference, with a mountain of torque via roots blower. The '05 was pretty violent to drive, this one feels tame and sophisticated.

Old car and vid:

Congrats Tony,

I really thought your getting Victory red or Orange ZO6 since you love those colors but great choice.

I liked Victory Red and Orange on the used cars, but I liked gray better.

It takes more than one source of income.

If you want something, figure out what it takes to get it, and do something about it. Most people do not, or they are too scared to learn something new.

Hell yea the color is just simply amazing. A friend has a project 240 and he was looking for a greyish color to paint his car, had to show him these pics.

I have the OPs car as my wallpaper atm lol.

Congrats on the purchase, that would be my dream vette at the moment. I saw an identical one at the Carlisle Corvette show with the new wheels and the 427 badges and LOVE the way that color with those wheels looks.
