How do you feel the driving experience of the C6Z compares to that of a C5Z? Obviously that LS7 rips a bit more than the LS6, but is the C6Z a bit too "techie" and refined when compared to the C5Z (sorta like your Viper comparison)?

Never owned a C5, only drove several of them. The C5 Z06 is a damn good performer for the buck. Now that some are in the high teens on the used market, that is a great deal. The C6 is just a much better car than any C5. I'd rather have a base Z51 C6 than any C5.
