I recently got a '03 EB z06, and I was wondering about some of the quirks of these cars, and what they usually came with as standard/optional equipment. Mine is stock except for a short shifter as far as I know, and had 41,156 miles on it when I drove it home.

mostly electronic.

The abs module goes out, column lock problems, grounding issues causing electrical gremlins. You can find out alot more on corvetteforum.

Only minor issues. Mechanically the cars are sound, unless you launch hard and then wheel hop and breakage occurs.

you can get a brace for the wheel hop issue

if you get electrical gremlins, clean all the grounding points and check under the battery to see if it has ever leaked.

and the colum lock bypass mod is a must.... dont let your car stand you if you can easily prevent it.

Yeah mark definitely get the column lock thingy. Before I even knew about how bad of a problem it was my car did that twice on me. Its definitely not fun or cool having your car start up and then die on you. Thats the only problem I've had with mine, but I only got to drive mine for 8 days before I left home again.
