Default Does the Zr1 have less seat room?

Drove the hell out of a 09 Zr1 and only had room to move my ankle to shift.. The C6 zo6`s that I had driven seemed to have a lot more room. So, did GM take some leg room out?

Ps, the Zr1 feels like a low, low 10 second car from a roll.

Yes, it is a damn nice ride and frickin fast!! The Ride is very nice for so much performance.. Well worth the money! IMO

Well, I am 6 foot 6 and there is just no room for me.. I think the shift console is a lot higher but something has changed inside..

PS, when is this site going to get a ZR1 or add the number to the section section?????

Yeah I'm 6'3" and there's not alot of room. But I know the Z06 and I'm sure the ZR1 are worth curling myself into!

All C6's have identical interiors. Someone might have had that seat elevated, you can make them feel like they go back some more if it is all the way down first.

Plus, the comfy seat cushions do flatten a bit with some miles on them. That would also give more room.

Any chance the console is higher to cover the new tranny? I usually can lay my leg to the side more but not on the Zr1. . I can drive the C6 Zo6 a lot easier.

Cmon Tony,,, I know how to adjust the seats.. The interior is a lot nicer in the Zr1 and the seats may not go FLAT like the model you are reffering to..

No change in console height between them. All C6's share the same interior.

I guess I have to lay off the weights then. Need one of these for my stables! Clutch and gear changes were really easy and smooth; even coming from a Automatic dude.

I will give it another fit test soon and drive it over to Auto specialties for a super charger pulley fitment. Drove it by there last week but they were closed.

He knows car owning people. Probably not a "place" that lets anyone test drive a ZR1.

Nineball is correct ,,, as usual

I crawled all around it checking out carbon fiber, heat exchangers, exhaust , intake etc. etc. The blue devil dude/skull on the air intake is a nice touch..The car is very quiet and stealthy until you get on it.. Then all frickin hell breaks lose! Talk about transformers. It feels like the whole car lifts up about 5" and then gone. Have to really focus on the gears, as shitavos happens really fast.

I have to admit, I would miss that pure cam overlap of the C6 zo6..Just a little though..

Brooke, put a cam in the ZR1 and crank the boost a bit with a pulley. You know those engines are barely working in stock form

Do you guys think for sure it will beat the ford gt?
In stock form, the ZR1 crushes the Ford GT.

You can dive into intimate Zr1 specs here. Boost is very low at 10.5PS1.. Lot of room to "pulley up" on this ride. It is a very effeciant motor set up.

Tony, Cam will help a lot but it is that nice tight overlap that this blown motor has to stay away from. No lumpty lump with the screw drive or bye -bye boost

You can still run a mild cam with 114-115 LSA no problem on a blower car. My previous C6 had a 230/230 114 cam and a blower. It loped just fine:

The transmission of the ZR1 as in all C5 and C6 Corvettes is located in the rear of the car...it is a transaxle ..... a torque tube connect the bell housing to the transaxle ... it has no effect on the height of the consol in the car....

Yes, all makes sense but I had or felt like I had a lot less leg room to operate pedals. I have driven both cars now but did not have them side by side to tell. Are there any Zr1 owners on this site yet? Is this the section going to include ZR1`s. I know people are looking for OD pulley`s already.
