Security light on or flashing? Its extremely hard to diagnose the cars with ECM controlled starting. There are so many inputs to the ECM that can disable starting its not even funny. Unless you have a scan toolto look at, its almost impossible to know whey its not starting.
Some easy things you can check are all the fuses, try swapping the run and/or crank relays with something thats not required to start the engine (ie a/c comp or park lamp relay) only if the relays are the same number. You might also disconnect the clutch start switch (2 wires: one pink and one purple with white stripe) and jumper it with a paper clip. This will eliminate the clutch start switch as a culprit.
Did you disconnect the battery with the ignition on? Doing so on these cars can damage the ECM. Also just to double check...the DIC doesnt say "NO FOB DETECTED" right?
Does the starter solenoid click or not click when you try to start it?

I finally gave in and took it to the dealership, however before I called the tow truck I decided to roll the car outta the garage by having my wife push and me in itand let it roll down the driveway, I popped the clutch and the car fired up!!! however I saw that the check engine light was on so I drove the car back up the driveway and into the garage and turned it off.It didn't start so I pushed again (err wife pushed again lol) I decided to just drive it to the dealership since its like 2 miles away so that I didn't have to tow it and left it.they said they would let me know tomorrow.I wonder what the heck is wrong with it??????

ok so it's ignition related and not spark/fuel related. If that was the case it wouldn't have started at all. Push starting it means that either the Fob is faulty or the ignition button. These are the "likely" causes of it. Are electrical issues common on the C6's like the C5's? i'd guess they have ghost's as well. Is the car still under warrenty? if so who cares that it's in the dealer. Tell them you took the covers off to use air to blow dirt out from under them and then went inside. Came out later and it didn't start. They shouldn't have an issue getting it fixed under warrenty.

alright got the car back from the dealership and it turns out that the car has some kind of aftermarket gps system on it that is tied in to the ignition. They asked me if I installed it and I told them that I didn't even know it had it.They didn't charge me even though I didn't by the car from them. They said that if I wanna get it taken off that they could do it for me for 85 bux(hour labor). That's the down side of buying used Thank you everyone for your help it atleast got me to know my car a little better

Interesting. But why did the gps not let the car start though?

I'm gonna end up taking it off in a few weeks. That way I don't have to worry about it anymore. Its very wierd because the battery had completely died out on me one time that I left the trunk open on accident and it didn't affect it and now this little hose thing just shut it down

If it was tied into one of the ignition circuits it could have been pulling a reference or ignition voltage low causing the no-start. Aftermarket electronics dont work well with newer CAN systems....they are very sensitive to voltage changes and what not.
