Yup!! Your going to have to move that out of the way. Its a pretty challenging job cuz of how akward the steering rack is, but once its out of the way, its pretty smooth. Have fun with that and take your time. Personally, I wouldnt do it until i was ready to change out the cam due to how frustrating that job can get. Once you put the cam in, you can put the new UD pulley on.

True. For the vette it is better to do the pulley when you do the cam. The rack can be a pain to get out. You have to have it turned just right to pull it out of the car. If you want to just do the pulley, it is not worth it for the time you will be putting in.

If you search, some people have gained more than 10rwhp. But on the vette it does look like a bitch. When i put my engine in i didnt go ahead and install one, now i bought one and havent even tried to install it in half a year because it looks like a pain in the ***. I always wondered why i saw them for sale brand new in the box.
