More people have gone from C5Z to C6, than have gone from C6 to C5Z. Not the best of comparos, but to say the C6 is lacking is biased. Drive one and you will agree,,,

Thats a tough one for me. I'm likely either going to get a 98-02 WS6 A4 (built) with low mileage and a low mileage C5 A4 (full exhaust as a cruiser) or just a built C6 LS2/LS3 A6.
I honestly love both cars. I just prefer an automatic. To each is their own.
Both cars will result in a satisfied owner IMO

Id take a c5z06 over about any car in the world...Beautiful cars, one of the best stances I have ever seen. Stock for stock faster than 05-07 c6s and maybe mod for mod to...drivers race with a 08+... Cant beat the performance when you can get a 1-2 owner >80k mile rocketship for 20k

C5 Z was "it" back in 2001-2004. But now the base model corvette can compete with the last models flagship Z. The C8 LS3 are in the high 10s now with exhaust 'n cam, they are monsters.
The price is steep right now on them though. I just REALLY like the interior on the C6 better than the C5, no doubt about it. Its more daily driver friendly, and looks better IMO.
I picked mine up for 28k, has 9500 miles, and FULL bolt ons, with the A6 transmission. Price for price your getting more car for the money with a C6.
