boost or bottle?
boost or bottle? i see a lot of guys here runnin their vettes n/a with nitrous.... i personally like the blower setups and a lot of people complain that they are too expensive but honestly it seems like nitrous h/c setups would cost more...a lot of people are making a lot of power through 317 heads/ls6 intakes with FI setups..... and going n/a- ported fasts and good set of heads make up for a lot of the cost for an FI setup... not to mention 100 octane when you want to spray and bottle refills... what are your guys' opinions/ experiences? thanks

On a serious note, I am assuming you are mostly stock and looking for some more power right? If that is the case a H/C/I package with a nitrous system can run just as much as a blower package.
If you do go the H/C/I N2O route, you do not have to run race gas every time you spray. If you run a 100hp shot, you can get away with the stock timing and pump gas. A lot of people do it without problems. Now a couple gallons mixed with the pump gas would be good insurance though.

How much power do you want to make? Depending on what you want you don't need heads. Cam+150 will make just as much power as a FI setup(both being on stock block).
If you have that kind of 'infinite moneyz' you should definitely go FI. If you are on a sort of budget the spray is so much cheaper

NA with a little bit of spray. I have had Turbos, Superchargers, Nitrous, and just pain NA. For me I hate the lag of Turbos and Superchargers. NA+N20 is instant. You can't beat the TQ of Nitrous. Either way it's up to you. Good luck.

Verdad Gallardo ive had a procharged camaro before making 580 on 10lbs and i saw no lag just a big tire budget... i havent experienced with nitrous at all so im just trying to get some opinions...
I have a buddy of mine who has 04 CE Z06. Heads, cam, Procharger, headers, etc. Stock bottom end and his makes 585 RWHP. Rolling in 1st gear (2k RPM) and stabbing the gas, there is lag, the power is not instant. My 402 on just motor makes 40RWHP less. There is no way he will pull me out of the hole.

I 60 ft 1.48 without the juice and 1.41 with the juice blower cars love the juice I pick up 5 tenths in the 1/4 on a 100 shot
I know dude, that is why I put that in about spraying off the line. When I last saw your car run you were spraying a 50 shot (out of the hole..) and you just had a new converter put in the car. Maybe we can hook up sometime. NA cars love nitrous also...I'm in the process of having 2 stages put on mine.

im in the same boat right now. i have a 427 C5R motor, makes 535rwhp thru an A4. i REALLY am ready for the next step which is TT. but it'll cost me damn near 5-6K to swap internals to boost friendly comp ratio AND buy/install a TT kit. so we're talkin like 12K all said and done. is it worth having 900+rhwp? uhm..not for me. so next logical choice, throw some juice on it and make 650hp and 700tq at the wheels! its useable power on the track, but def not on the streets...
I'd say 1000 for nitrous and you're good to go. just keep re-filling bottles. Spend 6k+ for a blower setup but its power on tap, all the time, everytime.
