370 on a mustang dyno is pretty high. Most DJ stock Z's put down around 355-365 with intake/LT's putting down around 380-390 RWHP. I'm hoping to get mine dynoed in the next month before I start the real mods

Yes it is possible. We had a stock one put down 375 rwhp on our dyno. Granted it was a dynojet but the whole "mustangs dyno will read less" idea is greatly over done.

My 01 Z stock put down 340 rwhp on a mustang dyno. Even for an 02-04 370 rwhp seems to be high, but any thing is possibly.

Ever check the compression. Some of these factory freaks are nothing more then a few ringers that gm probably just threw out for the hell of it. Thinner gaskets, or slight milling of the heads, I am not 100% sure just speculating. Just seems that all the motors are built at the same time, so they should all be the same roughly, not have a 30 rwhp difference. Check the compression and we'll know for sure.

Every car is different. I have done several cars with the EXACT same setup and they will dyno different. I cant think how many times I have done a G5XR2D2 cam in different vettes with the same supporting mods and got totally different numbers.

Back when the last C5Zs were being built in '04, some car mags and tuners, from their various tests, were estimating them at around 425 HP at the crank (bonestock!).
