You broke off the plug in the cylinder ?

If so there is a very informative thread up, if I find the link I'll post it here for you.

Good luck, and what did the G/F say when you told her ?

I looked, but I don't have my contacts in. LOL. Anyways I'll look again tomorrow, but the gist of the thread is that the OP actually broke the plug off in the cylinder and the only way to fix it was to remove the head.

could it be that the "nut" on the spark plug broke and then the thread part is remaining?

sounds like a PITA either way

I would figure out a way to get it out without pulling the head. Pull the manifold, let it sit overnight with penetraing oil and pray like hell. I would refuse to remove the head....well until I actaully had to.

What year is the car and how many miles? Cause im guessin someone changed the plugs without antiseeze or anything smeared on the threads of the plug allowing it to corrode probly cause they let moistue or get to it. Or they couldve torqued it way to much to where they couldve cross threaded them, with or without something to prevent seizing. All i got to say is atleast the vettes heads are one the easiest things to remove on em. lol

I WIN! but man thats total bs that you had to do that. If people would go that extra limit and spend a lil more time to do things right, big problems wouldnt occur like that. People are to damn lazy and ignorant to realize the small simple things count in the long run.
