Which c5 is best for this?
My question to you guys is there any year of car better suited for a boosted setup.
Are automatic transmissions better for boosted setups?
I'm looking for 1998-2002 year models to mod the hell out of is this good?
Does high mileage cars hurt in this case?

or pick up an frc, (they're lighter) put a powerglide in it with a turbocharged, forged LSx and a solid axle.
I plan on doing something similiar but with a 78-82 C3 with an LSx and no power adder. Just a bad-*** N/A vette.

That is a pretty stout car right there. I want to build it myself so I understand the componets I am useing. I would like to start in the mid 9 second area and work down. Like any race car you open the doors and just start pouring money into them!

Any idea how much lighter a FRC car is over a coupe? The FRC cars are my first pick but if a automatic/coupe is better choice then I will go that route.
