Default Thanks to RPM Transmissions

I would like to extend a special thanks to Rodney, TJ, Todd, and all the guys at RPM transmissions. As many of you know, after making several 9.70 runs at over 144 mph at both South Georgia Motorsports Park and Darlington Dragway, I broke my C5 DTE stage V diff. I took all my drivetrain parts to RPM to be checked and rebuilt. While I was getting a tour of the RPM facility, my transmission and diff were disassembled. Rodney and I discussed the damage and formulated a plan to avoid future damage. Rodney made me a deal “I couldn’t refuse” and we decided to go with RPM’s C6 Z06 diff conversion for my C5. RPM had all the custom parts in house to complete the conversion except the custom 30 spline mainshaft which connects the 4L60 transmission to the C6 Z06 diff. The timing worked out perfectly as Rodney was planning a weekend vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee which is where I live. Six hours from RPM in Indiana. The mainshaft came in on a Thursday. All the parts were assembled on Friday, and Rodney personally delivered them to my house on Saturday. Now that is what I call customer service! I finally got to test the new set-up over the weekend and everything worked great. I also ran a new personal best mph in the 1/8 (111.44). I have some more testing to do before the shootout in Bowling Green on May 1-3. Thanks again RPM for your excellent workmanship and service beyond the call of duty. Also, check out my car in the June issue of Chevy High Performance Magazine which just hit the newsstands.

+1, I know a few guys that always go to RPM for work and are friends with Rodney and others at the RPM shop. I too went to them when I grenaded my stock 6 speed and they did everything they could to help me out and I was 150% satisfied with how everything played out from them.

Nobody better than Rodney. He did my 3.90 rear a few years ago and it's still running strong. When/if I need the M6 redone I know where to go.
