Default How well do Z06 TI's flow as compared to Borlas?

As the title says..

How well does the Z06 TI's catback flow as compared to say a Borla XR-1 system that has the single resonator (2 in, 2 out) in it?

Thanks for any opinions.

If you like the "noise" get the Borla's, if not, get the Ti's and spend your money on parts that will help you go faster..
By the way, my 9 second car still has the stock Ti's on it....

Just what you see, Cam, SC meth, heads have never been off. Stock exhaust, headers, 3.42 rear, 4 speed auto. Car is a real sleeper...

I took the Borla Stingers off mine and put the TI's on, didn't lose a bit.

I recently went back to stock Ti's (about 200 miles ago)... I fell in love with the car all over again.

Those borlas sound fantastic; but the minutia you gain in extreme upper end throttle response on borlas is easily negated by the fact that stock Ti's are sleeper.

Stock Ti exhaust = awesome; incredibly underrated in my opinion. Plus, even with longtubes + no cats... you can hear *everything* going on in the car.

my 10 second beast is back on ti's no power loss on dyno 580rwhp. Had Bullets and the noise was too much! Sleeper effect is the best!

Well mine is a H/C/I car that made 464/427, but the Xr1 I have is too loud for my taste.

I have seen the Ti's and the Borla stingers dynoed on a stock 03 C5Z. The Borlas made only 3 rwhp more. I have also seen the same test with an 04 C5Z H/C/Procharger. The Borlas made 5.67 rwhp more. I have a friend who works for GM and he told me that a lot of thought and planning went into the Ti's. For what they are, I think they are great.

The stingers don't sound to bad, although the XR-1 sounds like a farm truck with straight pipes. Horrible.

I'm running LG pros without cats, along with the stock TI's and it sounds great.

I have long tubes, hi flow cats, and moded ti's, I think they sound great, a lil louder then stock. But nowhere near as loud as the XR1
