408.. do i sts??? hey guys,
my fiancee gave me the go ahead on a sts turbo kit.. a member was selling it used and gave me dibs.. he's asking 3,000 for the complete kit minus blow off valve and wastegate. its the basic turbo's that come in the kit.
my current build
straightline performance 408, trickflow heads, nitrous comp cam, je pistons, forged eagle rotating assembly, ported 90/90 combo, speed inc fuel rails 42# inj, callaway cold air kit. kooks 17/8's 3x3 off road x pipe, 11.5 to 1 compression. i do realize that i will have to run low boost from the compression.. but on motor i'm making 500.7 and 460 ft lbs. even with 4 psi.. the car should rip...
opinions if i went with this kit? anyone else done a sts on a 408? i know procharger would be bad *** or a tti, aps, kit.. but for 3 grand for the complete kit? and i dont have to change my headers that i just bought.. this might be the way to go.. !!!! plus i looove how they sound.
