I agree, wheel hop is your enemy. upgrade to at least bilstein shocks too. and ditch the runflats
So now I have a hardened output shaft and new posi clutches. I still need to get the DTE brace and Z06 axles.

1st.Yes the stock rear end will hold 1.6 60'...But Not high RPM launches.
Also the left out put shaft is on borrowed time.
2nd.How Much power are you planing on putting to the ground?

I wouldn't build Corvette for short times, it will get VERY expensive rather quickly. But if that is truely your goal, look into a solid rear and just do it once.
