Hurry up SilveradoSS500.

I need you to start modding your C6Z when you get it so I can follow the route you take on my RFZ.

Here's some potential mods for you top get your brain opining on:

LG ShortShift. I have the Hurst shifter in my C5Z, time for a change
Tint: 5% or less.
LG CF intake
Valvetrain overhaul
Exhaust-headers and stock exhaust with butterfly valves open?

Not a bad start, although I would recommend an MGW shifter. Mine just got installed today.

I had headers put on mine a couple weeks ago and had the 160 degree t-stat put in today. Shop called a short while ago, and with practically 100 degrees ambient in the shop, it still managed 492rwhp SAE (504 STD). And that's just headers (with catted X-pipe), Vararam, 160 degree t-stat and tune. I'm happy.

There are a lot of great deals out there. You should have no problem finding a low miles car. My first color was the atomic orange but I found my blk 07 for a super can't pass up deal 9 months ago. It is one of the fastest, smoothest best handling cars I have ever driven. I guess thats why they call it a supercar for GM.

I'm actually looking at the ones with 40-50K miles since I will strip it apart from day one for all new topend (cam/heads/valvetrain). I'm going to kill it anyway.

That sounds like fun...

I've seen some in the high 30's with those miles.

Good Luck

SilveradoSS500..

I still remember that test drive, poor SRT8 *tear*

But hate on hate on... I can understand. haha.

P.s. as for the car prices, the summer effect is in full motion; there's a been a bottoming of the prices. However, there was a 06 C6Z that went for 32K not too long ago out in BFE Texas, it was listed up on another site. There's getting to plenty in the high 30's low 40's range.

the younger the year model, the slightly faster and edgier it is. The later Z06's are little bit too refined apparently. Besides, age is but a number
