I just wanted to let everyone know that i ended up purchasing the one that i posted the link of! Best car i've owned by far and i'm very excited to see what it can do!

 

My c5z makes clunking noises occasionally when I shift too and it's fine. It usually does it at the lower rpms. My guess is it has something to do with the gate that makes you skipshift from 1 to 4.

I daily drive it everyday, no problems. It's just a heavy clutch and who knows what gm did to that tranny to make it handle all of that power and be driven daily.

I agree with the comment about the 01 z. I wouldn't buy one unless it was white. My last c5 was white and I always got compliments on that color.

oh and btw it burned oil (it was also an 01, not a z).

I'd hold out for an 03+ personally.
