Default Corvette tach problem
I did do a search!

My pal's '90 Vette has an issue where the tach reads extremely higher than it should.

At 70 MPH it reads 7K!

He had a distributor swap & the issue did not go away.

Is there something he's over looked aside from replacing the instrument cluster?

It's an analog dash BTW.

just get an aftermarket one and if you don't know how, have it set up, since i think yours is a c4 it should not be that expensive.
