as usual, the wheels suck, but i think that the body styling is pretty cool. definately has potential.

Love the new lines...but i cannot STAND red vettes. Yeah yeah, ive read the book "all corvettes" are red...but to me, EWWWWW! lol. I love black, and blue vettes personally. May take it into P-shop and do a lil bit of color work, then see how it looks in black or EBM

That looks AWESOME

I love the wheels as well. Base vette will have the LS6 (405hp AFAIK)
Z-06 next year 550 with 3 valve 427 AFAIK

Probably not. The new car will have a completely new generation of small block under the hood. They have been working on a 3 valve head but there will still be just one cam and set of pushrods.......Some way have another set of rocker arms in there. Anyway, you will get new architecture on the engine in the C6. Rumore has it they will take the redline to 7000rpms reliably with a 30% margin of safety......sumbitch is gonna scream. Purely my speculation that the base car will get 400hp and the ZO6 version near 500hp. Rumors abound that the next ZO6 wil be King of the Road... although the Viper still has plenty of room in that V10 to jack up the power. It will definitely be interesting.

I'm preparing to trade my car when they hit the dealerships...looks killer! There is only a few issues, the first is price gouging and the second is the Z06 or perhaps Z07? I will not pay over msrp to be one of the first people to get a new one, and I may wait on the new version of the Z06. In that case it may be a while.

There's a previous post on the Gen IV engine, and the speculation so far is a 3V OHV 6.3L 500hp engine. Whether thats the true production model (which will probably be for the top of the line C6) is still in debate. I'd venture to see a 400-425hp version in the "lower" ranks of the C6, then a 450-500hp version in the Z06/ZR-1 (whatever they're going to call it)
