What exhaust are you guys running on your 08 09 c6 vettes....thinking about going with loudmouth 1....any suggestions...

I tried several including, borla, bullets, prt and the one I was the most happy with was the stock z setup with the modified mufflers, w/ lt's and orx it is just right and with a m2w there is NO DRONE! Drone can be a horrible thing on a c6, nothing like my c5z.

Do you think corsa extreme sounds good and is loud........it sounds good on you tube....

 

NPP with Mild-to-Wild controller. I just love it! Nice low rumble with the flaps open and screams like a banshee under hard acceleration yet closed it barely makes any sound at all until you get above 3500 RPM.

You can retrofit the NPP on any 05-08 that didn't come with NPP just make sure you buy the 08 NPP mufflers. The 09 changed the over-the-axle pipes and while it can be retrofitted it is a PITA. Check eBay or Corvette Forum "For Sale" section for NPP systems for sale. Expect to pay between 600-900 for the system plus another 150 for the controller.

 

My vote is for Corsa....on pretty much any car. Most intense sounding exhaust out there!

 

DMH cutouts. Crack 'em just a little for a mild catback sound or open em up all the way for the noiz.

 

What did you decide?

 

Went with slp lm 1, it sounds amazing even with stock manifolds and cats....it wasn't nearly as loud as I thought would be sounds amazing!
