Is the a arm going to shoot down and be a biotch to get bolted back up when I take out the top control arm bolts?? I have a jack under it but if I jack it up all it does is raise the whole car up so I have a feeling I wont be able to jack it up in place?
Use a jack and jack up the arms so that you can remove the lower "A" arm thru bolts in the cradle. Be carefull not to get yourself pinched in because the front springs are under 700 pounds of pressure.

Once you get the lower "A" arms off, the cradle will drop some but be held up if the steering rod is still attached.

Yea the steering shaft is out and the steering rack is unbolted also

When I tried jacking up the a arm it just raised the car instead of the a arm is if the spring is too tight or the car isnt heavy enough. If so that means when I finally release all that spring tension the a arms either going to shoot down or the cars going to jump up. Will unbolting the lower control arms prevent this? only cuz I started unbolting the top of the a arm already since the bolts are easier to get at

Just set a jack up under the lower "A" arms, remove the two lower bolts (21mm). Slide out the bolts and then use the jack to release the pressure. which should allow you to drop the cradle.

You could also just remove the nut from the lower ball joint, leaving the arms attached at the cradle and not disturbing the alignment.unbolt the two rack to cradle bolts, unclip the brake lines and abs wire(leave connected) pop the arms out of the spindle and lower the whole assy as needed. You WILL need to put some pressure on the arms to get them back in the spindles when done,we usually end up with just enough on the outer end of the lower arm to barely raise that corner of the car off the stand. Its usually a little easier than trying to line up the camber/caster bolts on the other end under tension.

I put a jack under the front k-member and dropped it down, with the front bumper removed it goes right in.

Well, the engine is IN and bolted in with the cradle back up and tight. On the last control arm the balljoint is through and nut is on, but I cant get it tight since the bj spins with the nut....I have the jack under it jacked all the way up till it starts lifting the car and gave some love taps to the arm down to help it seat in the taper but still spins.....any other ideas? It worked for the other side but no dice here

You need the correct size hex key to stop it from spinning why you tighten it. I think they are 6mm.
