I had a complete kit on my old car (the same maker that does the recent APS) and I wanted to commit suicide with a shotgun about halfway through.

Front mount kit's are a nightmare, fabbing one up is going to be a 6 month long saga if done in a home garage.

Why go through the pain? You're already boosting right? Same psi, so what if you have to wait 300 rpm (or less) to boost compared to a front mount... the hellish install wont be worth it.

I am trying to get away from the oil return pump problems. I had oil return problems from the time I put the kit on the car. I had a pump go out at MIR and lost a turbo when the kit was 9 months old. Although I just recently converted to the new sts twin pump system and it has zero problems. I also added a vacuum pump to get rid of their pcv setup. The reason I was thinking about moving the turbos now that everything is right is because the motor has to come out of the car. My methanol pump locked up and I ran the car without meth and of course broke a ringland. I new better 10 psi + 10.5 compression stock bottom end with no meth is asking for it. Now would be a good time. You might be right. I might be trading one set of problems for a new set. I wish I had my A@A Vortech back.

Most front mount turbos systems still use a scavenge pump unless they are high enough for gravity feed.

The meth pump issue you've had can happen to any type of FI kit.

When the time comes for boost on my current car it's going to be Kenne Bell (hate the ugly hood though) or A&A brakets with a Vortech SQ head unit.

-F- putting on another TT setup.

The TTIx kit is probably the best corvette kit out there now. I think people are making 900+ rwhp with all the upgrades they offer.

Also Hinson started making a kit but I haven't heard anything about it:
