Default 427 Dyno# UPDATE

We have changed out the Stainless Works 1 3/4" headers & 3"-2.5" X-pipe with Kooks 1 7/8" headers & 3" X-pipe. We made 514.4RWHP/503.1RWTQ with the factory Z06 tail section in place. Dropping it with the 1 3/4" headers picked up another 16 RWHP, and I would expect at least that same gain if we had dropped it with the larger headers.

Next is a 3" stainless tail section, which I hope would get us some of that 16+HP back, and definatly the FAST LSX intake.

IMPRESSIVE RESULTS TOM! Looks like you are going to be costing me more money now that that you have put the KOOKS bug in my ear regarding my 427!

Nice.

Not bad to keep the torque up like that and pick up hp even though you went to 1.875 headers and a bigger x pipe...

Did the power peak move at all?

No, it peaked about the same as before, I have to believe the intake is a big restriction at this point.
