His heart is good. He says he wants to do a fast so we might put one on this week or next and do the stock comparison to stock fast.

280 rwtq @ 3000 rpms ? I was looking at the graph and if that is correct, that is a topend cam with NO low end grunt. Great power up top, but it must feel like a dog everywhere but the expressway or dragstrip.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Hell my 402 makes 420+ rwtq at 3000 rpms ...............

.700 lift rated springs, how MILD is this cam ? Specs?

The specs are low 230's low 240's with less than 650 lift we over spring them for durability. The throttle was not at full throttle when we started sampling sorry. Around 4-4500 is where full throttle was applied.

Thanks for the clarification man, and I apologize if I was sounding like an *** by my comments. I was purely taking a guess, and I clearly guessed wrong. I'd be curious to see what kind of lowend grunt that cam would make. Probably 410-430 rwtq at 3000 rpms. What would you expect ?

I hear ya on over springing for reliability, but how much hp/tq if any is lost ?

I believe it was around 425tq at 3000 on another graph. They are plotted on different sides of the graph.
