With all of this money put in there what are these cars running? I ran 11.00 with the stock suspension with a 99' FRC with 150 shot of nitrous(Stock motor). I hope its a lot faster then that!

It may, but I never tried it. Your close enough to us that I can make you one either way though if you like.

Would the drag 1 system help me alot in the 60 ft. and still drive around town?
It can, but I would say you have more of a tire problem. Try a better tire, or a softer launch. Feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this in length.

thanks

I'm pretty happy with my car, we'll see what next season brings.

Nice time! Looks like all those parts work pretty well! At what times do they really start to matter?

It's difficult to put a time on it really because it matters what your focus is on. We have guys that are avid bracket racers looking to do the glide because of the great trans brake and consistency of the single shift, even though they have an 11 second car. The suspension parts will make the car more consistent off the line too, so again, it depends on your focus and how dialed in you would like your car to be.

I would say below mid nines though is when some of these parts should be considered a manditory part for safety, let alone the help in ET.

Glad to hear you almost done! That's odd that you had to get a different belt though? We have these assembled on our set up blocks with that belt?

Just a tip, you can jump your main power feed from the starter with a small jumper if you like, rather then feeding the other main all the way down from the top of the engine.

I also just extend the wires from the loom normally. One of them is just a 12V+ so I just mount it to the batt post on the alt, and the other two I extend, to be exact. If I'm installing one during an engine build, I'll open up the loom going down the drivers side and remove the wires from it, and pull the thick batt wire, but I'm **** like that, it's not necessary to do.

For those who have been waiting patiently for your Power glide, they are here and getting final fitted with our brackets as I type!!

We had a delay from the shaft manufacturers that really held us up a fair amount, we sincerely apologies for the unexpected delay. So that will never happen to us again, we ordered-and received- a ton of them so we have them ready to go for both the C5, and C6Z configurations. We honestly did not expect to sell as many as we have, so we were purchasing them in smaller amounts, which put us on the back burner with the manufacturer I guess, even though we were promised much sooner.

The actual transmissions and our brackets are never more then a week out, so from now on we should literally be able to overnight a glide package the day it is ordered if necessary.

I'll post up some pics of the C6Z configuration shortly, but for those who have been waiting, expect a package at your door soon! The will be leaving here starting tomorrow.

Thanks, Doug

What do mean Keith?

As far as track use, there was my car, and Jays car last season. Both eight second cars, that ran flawless trans/rear wise. This season we have a few others coming out, and a handful being installed elsewhere too.

If you have any questions let me know.

We have a few things for the F-body guys, but we have always focused mainly on the Corvette.

Thanks!
