Default LDCM acting up... fix or replace? Cheapest option available?

Driver's side door control module is acting up more often now... used to be once in a blue moon. Is this something expensive that can be fixed by a 3rd party like the ECBM, or is it a non-repairable unit where the fix is replacement?

Is there any mechanism or part of the component that can be cleaned to allow it to lock/unlock the door properly?

Thanks,
Brian

Unplug the LDCM located inside of the LD accordian.. Simply fish the harness out and unplug/clean the connectors, plug back in. DONE! Call it a day, did not cost you a thing. LMK how it turns out..

You think cleaning the main door connection in the accordian will do the trick? I guess it's the cheapest thing to try first! Found a good how-to for replacing the actual relays inside the module on CF if it comes to that.
