You'll probably put that clutch peddle right through the floor your next time out in the corvette. Or maybe it will be the accelerator peddle that sticks to the floor with all that pressure being applied...oh I forgot you don't drive a Toyota do you? Just Kidding!!

When it comes to what you put in your body I couldn't agree with you more. I don't trust certain restaurants, especially fast food joints. I'd like to know how much food gets dropped or spit on and then served.....

You guys are pumping some heavy iron. Congrats on the new personal best of 440# at 212. This is pretty impressive. I used to be a competitive bodybuilder but also tried to lift heavy. My best from back in the day (early 80s) was 500# bench but I weighed 248. Keep up the good work.

Well John any updates ? Hows things on the earthly plane? Hasn't started to suck for me yet, but by next week I'm sure it will. Oh well a couple weeks later it will be straight back to Mount Olympus LOL. Nothing like possessing the power of the gods for a stretch of time.

My last leg extension routine was 25 sets, or should I say mixed into a circuit of Extensions, leg curls, and donkey calf raises.

My final sets were 280x8, 305x8, 325x8, 350x8, 370x5, owner tells me I'm going to break the cable (because I'm pinning plates to the stack that stops at 280) LOL. Each set the final rep was held for about 5-10 seconds to emphasize filling of the muscle with as much blood as possible. I'd get video but my gym isn't that friendly. I'd get run out of there in a heartbeat if I tried to do video of me training LOL. Johns got it a little better on his side of the country. Holding at 245 but now doing cardio on my lunch hour at work. Sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do right. Hamstring is healing but still F'd up. Popped it repping out 230. Calves are doing better then ever after finishing my donkey calf raises with 500 for 10, feel the burn.

Well after a successful diet dropping from 275 ish down to 240 ish with the vast majority of unwanted body fat slashed its time to do it right. On a very regimented diet, and doing cardio twice a day to keep the body fat from coming back I feel I can start lifting heavy again and grow accordingly. My past problem has always been quick weight gain so i wouldn't do any cardio. Funny thing ocurred though, many people made comments about how much better I look at 240 due to the big DROP in body fat. So I'm going to keep up the current workout and diet with one change. Will add 500-700 additional calories per day from a lean protein source in hopes of gaining .5 to 1.0 lbs of muscle per week. Considering my history with gains of 2 lbs a week by eating and training like a mad man the .5 lbs of muscle per week should be no problem. I'm expecting zero fat gain, and if my predictions are correct I should actually lose body fat at the rate I gain lean muscle. So once the body fat drops a few more percent then I'll actually start seeing gains on the scales too. If for some reason things don't go as planned, I can always adjust my diet and or amount of cardio. (Bike for 40 mins at lunch, and treadmill on a 15* incline for 3-4 miles in the evening post workout) Wish me luck. Good luck to Spectre on continued leg strength gains. You can do it. Lets see a 500 lb bench this time around. You should do it at a weight of 230 lbs !! Good luck!

Hey John, I did my 10 plates a side lift last night too. Had plenty more in the tank but my bruised knee courtesy of my desk at work was swelling pretty good. from 5 plates a side I did 10-15 reps per set. 10 reps at 8 plates a side isn't as easy as many may think, especially if you touch your knees to your chest. Half reps are for pussies and don't count. (Unless you are just feeling the weight for the first time with the help of spotters) BTW John, I'm feeling the changes LOL. Only going to get better, have to watch my temper.

Well John, I'll have to post an update after the workout but today is leg press day again. Will superset with Shrugs. The way I feel I think 12 plates a side will be going up and down for more then a single. Thats as bold a prediction as I'm willing to make. Basing this on last week with a bruised knew and pushing 10 a side, no more swelling and feels great. Wish me luck. Glad you had fun in Vegas, now get your *** in the gym !!! Talk to you soon bro.

Just missed a full range of motion 12 plate a side single. Couldn't bring it down to touch my chest, 2 inches more. Not too shabby after warming up and doing a couple hundred work reps at lighter weights. 9, 10, and 11 aside went up for singles pretty easy as prep work for my 12 plates a side attempt. Got a little cocky after the 11 a side felt easy, didn't rest enough and hence missed it by 2 inches. I'll make adjustments and go for it again in 2 weeks. Going to do a higher rep lower weight workout. That should let my knee heal up a bit since she got stiff, and then I'll be ready.

Hey Johnny boy, maxed on pulldowns and low rows. Lat pulldown 250 x 8 final set. Low row final set 275 x 4. Keep in mind I superset back and triceps. So I'm a little more fatigued then if I was just doing back. I'm quite happy with my progress. Now just gotta get my cardio back up. Gained about 5 lbs in one week? Had no idea that the cardio was keeping my weight in check so tough. Stay tuned for some of John's aka spectre86 exploits in the gym. I'm sure he'll be putting me to shame soon enough.

Thanks a ton. Hoping to post some really impressive results in the next 2 months of beastly training. Thanks for the encouragement. Had to get a run on John while he was enjoying Vegas. Might have to fly him in for the weekend to do some training and Pu$$y chasing in the Motor City. Thanks for all the advice John. Couldn't have done it without you. Now post that Andressa Soares doing squats video for me so everyone can see my dream leg training partner. LOL. ONce you see her *** you'll know why.
