Cobra Vs. '08 Z06

Cobra Vs. '08 Z06 So it's a question until the race actually happens. My brother bought a rustang and the guy did a complete swap on it. It was a '98 Mustang (V6) swapped with the 03 Cobra motor, T56 tranny and solid rear axle. The Z06 has just a cam. Both are running street tires and believe it or not the Z06 driver wants a car and the jump. Is this guy just scared or would it really lose? The rustang puts down 470rwhp and 565rwhp on a 100 shot and with driver might weigh 3,600. Got no clue what even a stock Z06 puts down at the wheels or weighs but I keep telling him that the Z06 owner is a puss and you should line up even.
When is this going down? I'm sure I will get corrected but a stock Z06 without the restrictive air filter is capable of about 460-470 at the wheels. Plus the cam, so in my opinion it is a driver's race even if the mustang driver sprays, especially if the aero advantage of the Z06 takes over. What does a Z weigh? 3200?

Got no clue but the Z06 owner is making my cause a lost one. I keep telling my brother that the vette will rape him. But the guy says he doesn't race his vette at the track. He only races his bike there, WTF!!! He complains that he gets no traction. I told my brother to tell that bitch *** to get some sticky tires. You paid what 80k for a car and you can't afford <1k tires that stick.
My bro thinks his rustang was made by god. I want that vette to spank his ***. I plan on running him in the summer at the TRACK but I expect to lose but only if he never decides to get drag tires and keeps his street tires.

At the end of the day it boils down to one guy has a Z06 and one guy has a mustang......that alone sets them apart no matter who's faster.
Girls don't chase after who wins the race, that's only in movies, they chase who has the biggest bulge in their pants and I'm referring to the size of his wallet.

Z06 will win hands down, even if the mustang sprays. A cammed C6Z will make over 500rwhp with a cam. The C6Z weighs about 3200, if not less. Cobra's are nice cars but I have seen vid's of stock C6Z's taking down 500rwhp cobra's with ease.
My friend with a 03 C5Z with 400rwhp put 2 cars on a 03 cobra with 480rwhp. 50-130 or so. No passengers in either car.

Just a CAI, headers/x pipe and a tune you are at close to if not over 500rwhp. With a really good head/cam/intake package you are over 600rwhp.

Honestly, it depends a lot on the mustang setup and tires and what kind of race they will be running. 03 cobras are heavy, 94-98 stangs can weigh MUCH less. A full weight 3400lb 94 with 450rwhp will trap mid 120s. They can get down around 3000 3100 with tubular ****, light wheels, and minor reductions albiet if he has a 6spd it'll be a tad heavier but geared better. With 560rwhp that is an easy 10s over 130mph car if done properly. From a roll it should be a drivers race with the nod to the z06 over 120 or so, but my $ is on that stang from a dig esp if he can hook and drive.
For reference I had a 03 Cobra with a whipple and solid axle, it made about 590-600 rwhp and it traped 132mph in the 1/4. Depending on the cam the Z06 will be in the high 120's low 130's. Should be a good race.
