I have 2 cutouts before the axle and use the stock catback.

The B&B TriFlo Bullet system is very free flowing. It has two resonators and no mufflers so it also has an aggressive sound.

The Corsa systems are also a very good choice.

Hope this helps,
Tom

How about the borla stingers. They sound nice, I just don't know if they flow well.

The Z06 catback hands down is the best option IMO. Extremely light, flows excellent, very dosile while cruising, and screams @ WOT. The best off all worlds....

I bought loudmouth system and kept it one week!
It had the sh!ttiest quality I have ever seen for a C5 exhaust. As for the sound....it is the same if you just unbolt your mufflers and run strait pipes for $500 less.

I've got Borla on my C4 (corse the motor is far from stock w/an 800cfm carb....) going through the exhaust only droped my et's off about .1 or .2, normally I gain about .4 to .6 going from reg. cat back to straight headers, and I know a few other people with the borla and it seems to have the best track results, I dont beleive in mufflers but if I had to get a muffler without a cutout I'd go with borla again!!!

Most C5 catbacks aren't going to gain you a whole lot (if any). I owned the Loudmouth system for a while. It was alright for around town duty, but was obnoxiuos on the highway. If you want a loud system the Borla Stingers sound good. Keep in mind that if you decide to go with long tube headers in the future things will get much louder. I chose the Corsa's and have been very happy with them. I've gotten many compliments on the sound. Another good choice is the Z06 catback. I can't comment on the B&B's as I haven't heard them. If you can I'd wait until the next Vette show in your area and ask the owners with various brands of exhaust to start them up for you. A good way to figure out which one you want.

GHLs no resonance, deep idle, and loud at WOT. Stingers get my 2nd pick. Stingers and GHLs are worth about 10rwhp over a Z06 catback.
