Best cat-back for C5 ...

What is the best cat-back exhaust systems for the C5 ? i want the maximum hp .

I have slp loudmouth, great sound, just about maximum hp gain available, also very lightweight, 22lbs lighter than stock.

I agree. you've definitely got the most performance. but if you go to headers you won't be winning any awards for sound quality. All depends on what you want though. Just might want to think down the road and what your plans will before you purchase.

yea, headers and a loudmouth can be very, very loud. it is not for the faint at heart. i would go with the borla stingers or a equivalent

Yea, a supprising large number of vette owners run the borla stingers. They sound sweet with cam and headers.

TPIS exhaust system, has the best gains, my friends C5 with a TPIS 427 had B&B was loud, TPIS exhaust stystem makes more hp and sound mellow. can road trip with no drowning inside. and it's way cheaper than any other system you'll look at. SLP loud mouth is for teenagers that want to sound like redneck "COWBOY PIPES"

I have the TPIS exhaust system, I have a TPIS 427ci with headers, it's not as loud as a stock ci with B&B PRT. makes better rwhp than the tri-flo that was on it prev. It depends on if you are going for how loud you car is, or if you're looking for best performance??. I like the TPIS exhaust because I drive my car daily, don't want to get annoyed by the sound. It's not stainless, but I don't plan on driving in the winter with the car. Price is very reasonable and doesn't look to far from stock exhaust with tips installed.
