I can get a pewter 00 Vette vert with m6 ,but has salvage title for $15k.. Has 70k on it.. What do you guys think? I can get an 05 GTO M6 with 57k shipped for $17.5.. Blue/Blue..

 

No. A quick look of Corvette forum shows a lot of cars in that price range without the salvage title and less miles. GTO's are great cars and more practical. However if I wasn't worrying about practical, the C5 would be my choice hands down.

No. No salvage C5 Vette is worth over 10k unless you're using it for a parts car and it already has a C5-R or LS7 block in it. LOL

 

Wow this thread does not make me feel good. I just put a deposit down on a prior salvage title 2000 c5 with 59k. Silver fully loaded m6 car that is totally mint. Just hit in the front repaired at a gm dealer and passed inspection. Did I make a mistake here. I plan on keeping it for myself and 2 body shops couldnt even tell it was every hit.

If it's totally mint, passed all those inspections, you like it, and can afford what you paid for it then why worry? Drive the sh** out of it and smile while you do it.

 

Forgot to post I'm paying 12k for it. It was fleet owned car all dealer maintainted with records.
