Tubed C5's, those who have?
I currently have 19's all the way around 305 & 275 with Plus 2 Baer Rotor's.
In the name of traction I'm going back to 18's & would like to tub the rear & move to 335's.
Any thoughts, suggestion's or insight regarding the tub kit's? I would like a kit that fit's with the least amount butchery.

You are going to have to butcher the inner fenders to do it. As far as I know the LPE kit is the only kit out there besides the guys who do it themselves. Just do it, it's silly that chevy didn't make the vettes to accept a 12 inch rim.

....i made my own. I just pulled the carpet out...after removing a couple of panels...made a few measurements... and cut. then layed a piece of cardboard over the area that now had a gap in it....and you then fiberglass that in.
this was done to a car with coilovers so i didn't need shims or whatever else they sell in a kit.
didn't take more then a few screws loose to cut into mycar. Search for a DIY tub kit... see if you wanna tackle that. if not, cut out the areas, then have a fiberglass place fill gaps.

I used the LPE kit. I had to modify it to fit my coupe the way that I wanted it to. I am really happy with the way that it turned out. If you didn't know that it was modified you'd think that it came that way. It allowed me to fit a 335/30-19 NT05 in back nice and tucked up within the wheel well.

The LPE kit comes with the shock relocation bracket, but if you have coilovers you don't need to do any of that stuff. When I had leaf springs my car had a weird clunk in the back end when I would go over small bumps after installing the mini tub kit. I Installed the pfadt coilovers several months ago and it got rid of the clunk and seemed to line everything up much better. My rims would occasionally rub the a arm before the coilovers but now I now longer have that problem. The only thing you need from the LPE kit is the fender liners since you have coilovers. It may save you some money just to have someone cut your fenders and glass them in a little wider.
