Even I was sick because I love this car.
I was at the Philadelphia Auto Show today, and I was in the Chevy section, of course
Heres a clean 2011 ZR1, and its not roped off, as the CTS-V wagon is next to it on a beautiful turn-table. Well, i was taking pictures of the car, admiring it, why not right? Here comes a woman, Puts her two kids on the hood of the car, and their climbing on it like a jungle jim
Unbelievable, the $125,000 ZR1 isnt roped off, but the $72000 Cadillac is on a turn table. What the hell.
I wanted to throw up, and I'm sure everyone reading this could imagine

This happened in Houston as well, the ZR1 was almost being neglected, just left in a spot totally open and unattended. Kids kept jumping all over it, and people would bounce up against it with purses, jackets, and buggies, drove me nuts. I was afraid to approach the car, and just studied every inch in detail without wiping my greasy paws all over it, but apparently some people just don't appreciate things that way anymore...

Doesn't make sense at all!!!!! Your top of the line car is not ropped off, somebody screwed up. No worries tho. The dealer will just get it repainted and sell it to some poor sap.

That is sad. First off it's sad that it needs to be roped off for people to not screw up the clearcoat and secondly because some parents can't control their kids. I have a 2 yr old and believe me he wouldn't leave my sight at a car show for fear of causing damage to someone's car! I see it at local car shows too (I only go to 1 or 2 each year). People lean up against the cars or put their hands on them or let their kids climb on them to look inside...I think part of it is ignorance as far as not knowing the damage it can cause and the other part is people not having respect for other people's property.

Once I was at a car show with the Z Then this 4ft kid starts Trying to get in by jumping through the window and his dad was sitting there proud of himself. Then It became a huge argument:
Me: Your kid is on my car ( Of course I wasn't going to pick up the kid and throw him into the ground like some idiots do)
The idiot: Ok so what
Me: you better get him the **** off it or I'll go key your car! So forth and so on I just RTFO'd
