Default auto conversion what parts?

This weekend I am picking up most of the parts for an auto conversion in a C5. I want to know what else I will need. Here is a list of what I am getting.
Flexplate and adapter
Bellhousing
Complete torque tube
4L60E Auto Transmission
Stock Converter
Shifter and all cables and console plug
C6 Bracket to weld into the tunnel
Rear harness from a 1999 C5 Auto
and a 3600 stall converter.

I know I need to build the trans. I just finished a forged 370 with a ttix kit. Any info would be great.

Don't forget fluid. I'd see if they can cut you some sort of deal if you don't take the stock converter since you are getting a 3600 one. I'd get a trans cooler too while you already have it out and a trans brace. I'm having a brain fart but those ate just extras I'd pick up. Hopefully it's a well built trans with that ttix kit you will have.

I agree with getting a trans cooler, I am guessing this is a drag strip car?

You are correct. The only reason I am considering swapping to an auto is for the drag strip. I am tired of putting in clutches. The only down side is I finally bought a mcleod street twin and we be pulling it out with only 500 miles on it.

Gotcha, what are you doing for suspension? And is a shop doing all this work.

I have been running a stock suspension and have done well so far. I have a best '60ft of 1.49. I do all of my own work. The only thing I don't do is machine work. I have a friend of my do that at his shop. Right now I have a member from the corvette forums car at my house. I put a procharger on it a month or two ago. Now I pulled the motor and will be putting in a forged ls2 for him. I like to work on stuff so I am always working on something.

Thats good man. I am the same way I do all the work myself, its cheeper and better that way. Well good luck with your car I will be doing a Turbo 400 swap in my C5 Z next winter.
