So, more $$$ a month over the LS3 is worth it huh? With the money I was gonna put down the payments for the Z was around 470, while the LS3 was about 340ish.
Still worth it? Or should I just wait a year and put something like 15k down and get an 07 Z without the oil starvation issue?

You aren't going to run a Z06 out of oil on the street going around a corner at 1.1g. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are going to be a serious road racer. Even then, the fix will cheaper than buying an 07.

When I purchased my 08 C6 Z51, it was between that and a C5 Z06 and sometimes I wish I had gone with the C5 Z06. If I had the money at the time... a C6 Z06 would have been a no-brainer.

06 had a weaker rear end in it than the 07 and 08 Zo6's. Not sure if the LS3 had the beefier rear but if you want to track the Z hard w/radials your gona want to budget for some rear end work.
