Thermostat change for 2004
Thermostat change for 2004 GM has changed the thermostat design for 2004 so the usual thermo with housing replacement won't bolt up. It is now just a thermostat by itself that will drop into place.

I'm new to LS1tech.
I had spoke with the Chevy Dealer and they said that the new waterpump can be used on the 1998 to 2003 LS1. The thermostat is now much cheaper (~$14).
Does anyone know of a 160 degre thermostat that will fit the 2004 waterpump?
Hypertech says they are "working on it". No availability date....
