Default long tubes or axle back

Just bought a c5. bone stock m6, put a wet nitrous kit on it the second day i had it...now looking for a little more power and sound...

I like how long tubes, xpipe, stock axle back sounds but dont know what will gain more power..

Should I do LTs n Xpipe or axle back kit for more power gains??

My turbo formula build is coming to a stop since i bought this vette lol. Love the vette

Default .................

Do the longtubes and x pipe. I did a cold air, then axle back, followed by ls6 intake. I honestly felt more from the cold air. I know the other two are good supporting mods, but if you want that solid performance gain....my vote is for the headers. The sound gain was nice, but pwr i was a little let down

Headers will give you 20-30 rwhp, cat back maybe 5-10 rwhp if that.

Cat-back is for sound only. I would look for a good set of Z06 cat back, which flows better and is ultra light.

If the sound is really what you want, i was able to pick up a Granetelli stainless axle back for $300 shipped. Caught it on sale. They are comparable to the Borla Stinger, SLP Powerflo and i believe GHL bullet style set ups. No drone and gave me a nice deep tone.

Vette looks nice i would have to say lt's and x pipe. Then if you ever decide to get a axle back the hard part is already done.

Long tubes are great HP & TQ gains for the money. Stick with stainless steel for the best longevity.

Check out Stainless Works C5 Headers 1-3/4" & 1-7/8"

work front to back, catback as stated will only give you about 7hp, stainless in headers and exhaust is the only way to go.

Headers with straight pipe all the way out. Axle backs are nothing but a money grab.

Why not wait on the exhaust and put your turbo setup on the vette, it is a much better platform?
