Corsa Indy Pace Car Exhaust
FLT Level 5 4L60E

Your sixty should be 1.6 sec or less. With a higher stall your sixty should be 1.5 or lower. Have you experimented with flashing versus stalling the converter?

Nice times, but what were you racing? That must have been a race car or a ZL1.

You know, a little more stall and gear (in good air) would put that thing in the tens. Nice setup

I have, the one thing I haven't done is just mat it off idle...but that's coming next. I have a feeling that's going to get me my 1.6 short time.

It wasn't much to look at, but it was fast.

Hum, curious if this seems fast for your area. Over here on the rock, when one shows up at the local street races, 11.5 trapping 120, lets just say there's a crap load of street cars faster than that. If you show up with a mid 12 second car, you'll get beat many times thru the night, even the evo's and supras are faster than that. Roll and dig.

Lol.... Personally I think it's pretty fast. I guess the big boys are considered 10s and faster now days. What tires are you running? The 19" Mickey Thompson drag radial is a killer tire. Only problem is it is 27.5" tall. For slammed car like mi e, I would have to adjust my whole stance. I don't want to do that. Your car looks pretty low as well. I think you can get more out of the car, I'm trapping 120mph with just 415 rwhp 6 speed 3:42 gears. Keep up the good work. Nice car.

You can pick up a bit more E.T. by how you stage. Most people roll into the beams to fast. The best way to do it is to stage shallow. Creep into the first beam. Stop and compose yourself. Then creep in to when the second stage light just comes on. Plant the brakes. By doing this, you get a slight run at the beams before the front tire rolls out of the beam and the clock starts.

Hugger, just keeping it real, no way your car is 512 rear wheel hp with a 120 trap. I think the shop gave you a print out from a very happy dyno.

But hey, I"m sure it's fun to drive. Great street car.

Yeah your pass looks just about identical to mine, I would at least expect your trap to be a bit higher.

I'm running MT drag radials....275/40/17s. It's a work in progress no doubt.

I'll keep that in mind next time I'm at the track.

I agree with you....but I saw the car make 500+ rwhp on 2 different dynos. I think something else is going on with either knock retard or IAT temps. Data logs are the next step to figure out what the hell is going on.

On that dyno sheet, was the weight of the car just an estimate the guy put in there? Seems pretty high? My ad weighs 3210 with me in it and a 1/2 tank of gas

That's the weight of the car + a driver.

Me and the car were 3,520 on the scale at the track with a 1/2 tank in it.

Data log the car on one of the runs and see whats going on. My old heads n cam LS1 ran 11.0 @122 on a bad day at 490rwhp so you should be at least 10.8's with 512rwhp.
