Default I love the c5.... but

First of all. I do love the c5 and had 2 for a total of 10 years. Modded both with my own hands. I street race once in a while. And like to keep the car in show condition.
After test driving this 06 6 speed manual. I was in awe. 40,000 miles. I had to have it. I can't go back. This car has custom tunes, kooks headers high flow cats and corsa cat back, vararam intake, electric water pump. Small cam. This car kicks ***. Had to sell my c5. I dropped the c6 2 inches to start. Will do wide body rear fenders, then black spyder wheels 19x12 rears. I'll be doing a 1 mile event soon, will make some vids of it. Like my little Cali emblem haha

Thanks man. I was looking for a 08 up. A guy on the big island never called me back. I like the Ls2 alot also. Low miles couldn't pass it up. With the longtubes/ xpipe/ corsa, vararam, electric water pump, I pulled all the way up from a dig to about 75mph on my friends 2011 grand sport today. The mods helped for sure, but so does the 6 speed manual, I have the 3:42 gears, his has the a6 with the 2:73 gears. I just slowley pulled and pulled.
I test drove some base c6 a6s with 2:56 gears. Now way, those cars were just not impressive.
Of coarse next year I'LL do the wide body rear fenders with black 19x13 spyder wheels. Then a procharger. I might also throw a mayhem2 cam kit in this car. Worked well in my c5. I'll see you out one night. Lol.. tonight is daughters concert right after our sons last football game

Yeah, my c5 was t stock either. Wasn't bad *** but did have 416 rwhp. And was a 6 speed.
The c6 rides so much better, the refinements, seats, and body just was enough for me to switch.
When you drive another c6, make sure it's a manual. The manuals 3:42 gears vs the a6 2:73 gears is a world of difference.

Good good, all of you getting into c6's means there will be plenty of c5's for me to choose from when I look for one.
