Default Plasti dip

Used this years ago, but wanted to try it again. Good way to see if black rims look good before actually buying them. I think I'm going to get some black centennial rims. But plastic dip over the chrome came out pretty good

I plasti dipped my wife's suv rims and loved it, I also plasti dipped my rear bumper (CETA Mod) and couldn't look better IMO. Cheap easy way to see if you will like something before unloading the cash and being disappointed later.

Yeah, stock bolts, I removed most of the rubber from the bushings. Left a thin layer just so the bolt metal isn't bare against the a arm. Still rides real good too. That's the first mod I always do lol

Yep, me too. My c5 front bolts were removers. New owner put them back in.
C6 a little different. If I took the bolts out, would drop almost another 1/2 inch. But who knows. May e when I get the wide body rears, tuck the rear tires, maybe I will need more drop in the front. It's not a daily driver. But I wouldn't car even if it was lol

Great Vette, I LOVE the blue Vette with black wheels...

Thanks. The taillights are not plastic dip. But I will do the reverse lights and side markers with dip. Got the car pretty slammed now. Had to take the front air dam off because it was on the ground. No clearance. That's how i llike it. Lol going to dyno this thing next month. Its a z51 6 speed manual, roll racing from third gear I still break the rears loose and there new tires. Almost seems like someone put 3:90. Or 4:10 gears in. At 73 Mph, I'm at 1800 rpms. In 6th gear.

I guess I am the minority then, mine is still at stock height. You wouldnt get into my driveway if you are lowered.

Thanks. Finished tweaking it for now. He end result was remove the rear bolts. Cut off all rubber from front bolts. It's a z51 car so other cars may end up with different setting on the bolts. Yeah, rims will come with the wide rear fenders when I do that mod

Although I'm a huge fan of the black.

I think a polished wheel would look better.
