my 04 c5 z has a big problem getting water pooled in the passengers side inside the trunk can somebody help what the solution to this problem

dont have a pic but the compartment had a lot of water in the passengers side trunk compartment and is it difficult to remove the fender and carpet to fix it also is something broken or is it a gasket in side the fender thanks for replying
